Privacy Policy

Effective Date: September 18, 2024
Last Updated: August 4, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how OUKU NETWORK TECHNOLOGY PTE. LTD. (also referred to as "Ouku," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use Dream Puzzle Journey (the "Game"). OUKU NETWORK TECHNOLOGY PTE. LTD. is the controller of the information described in this Policy unless otherwise stated. Features, service providers, and data practices may differ by platform, country or region, consent choice, and app version.

iOS advertising and tracking notice: iOS versions that include advertising and attribution services may use Adjust, AppLovin MAX, Google Mobile Ads/AdMob, GameAnalytics, and advertising networks made available through MAX mediation. Where Apple's permission is required, the Game requests authorization through App Tracking Transparency before accessing the Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) or enabling cross-app tracking. If you deny or restrict permission, the Game does not access IDFA for tracking and may provide contextual or non-personalized ads. Apple's SKAdNetwork and other privacy-preserving or aggregated measurement may still operate.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 User, App, and Device Identifiers

We may assign a guest player ID, app installation identifier, or similar first-party identifier to maintain game progress, synchronize data where available, prevent fraud, provide customer support, and associate gameplay records with the correct player. Depending on the enabled features, we may also process an Apple platform account identifier, Identifier for Vendor (IDFV), Adjust device identifier, app instance identifier, or an Apple Push Notification service token.

If you authorize tracking through Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework, advertising and attribution providers may access IDFA for advertising measurement, attribution, fraud prevention, frequency management, or personalized advertising where otherwise permitted. If you deny or restrict tracking, we do not instruct the Game to access IDFA for tracking.

1.2 Device and Technical Information

We and our service providers may collect device model, operating system and version, language, country or region, time zone, app version, network type, IP address, SDK version, consent status, technical logs, crash information, performance data, and similar information needed to operate, secure, diagnose, and improve the Game.

1.3 Product Interaction and Game Progress

We collect information about how you use the Game, such as app launches, sessions, levels entered and completed, gameplay duration, feature interactions, rewards, virtual items, game progress, tutorial completion, milestone completion, and other in-game actions. We use this information to operate the Game, preserve progress, understand player behavior, balance content, troubleshoot service issues, and improve features.

1.4 Advertising and Attribution Data

Where advertising or attribution is enabled, we and our partners may process ad impressions, ad clicks, ad format, placement or ad unit, advertising network, campaign, ad group, creative, attribution result, install or reinstallation status, uninstall measurement signals, ad revenue, and related timestamps and technical information. This information may be used to serve ads, limit repetition, prevent fraud, measure campaign performance, attribute installs or re-engagement, and optimize advertising campaigns.

1.5 Purchase and Subscription Information

If you make an in-app purchase or subscription, we may process the purchased product, price, currency, transaction or order identifier, receipt, purchase status, subscription or entitlement status, and related fraud-prevention information. Purchase and subscription events may be used for analytics and advertising return-on-spend measurement. Purchases are processed by Apple. We do not receive or store your full payment card number or bank account details.

1.6 IP Address and Approximate Location

Our servers and service providers may receive your IP address when the Game communicates with them. An IP address may be used to derive an approximate country, region, or city for service operation, security, legal compliance, regional configuration, analytics, advertising, or fraud prevention. The Game does not request precise GPS location for these purposes.

1.7 Support Communications

If you contact us, we may receive the information you choose to provide, such as your email address, player ID, screenshots, purchase details, device information, and the content of your support request. We use this information to respond to the request, investigate the issue, protect users, and meet legal obligations.

3. How We Use Information

We may use information to:

4. Advertising, Attribution, and App Tracking Transparency

Where required, we request authorization through Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework before accessing IDFA or enabling tracking across apps or websites owned by other companies. The system setting can be changed under Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.

If you authorize tracking, advertising and attribution providers may use IDFA and advertising interaction data to measure campaigns, attribute installs, prevent fraud, manage ad frequency, or provide more relevant advertising, subject to other applicable consent requirements.

If you deny or restrict tracking, the Game will not use IDFA for cross-app tracking. Core gameplay remains available. Contextual or non-personalized ads may still be shown, and privacy-preserving or aggregated measurement such as Apple's SKAdNetwork may still be used.

ATT authorization is separate from consent required under the GDPR, UK GDPR, ePrivacy rules, or a consent management platform. ATT authorization alone is not treated as consent for personalized advertising or non-essential SDK processing where separate consent is required.

5. Service Providers and Advertising Partners

We may share information with service providers that process it for hosting, cloud save, analytics, crash reporting, purchase verification, security, advertising, attribution, fraud prevention, or customer support. The providers actually active may vary by app version, region, consent choice, and the mediation adapters included in the submitted binary.

5.1 Analytics, Attribution, Platform, and Mediation Providers

5.2 MAX Advertising Networks

Depending on the mediation adapters included and enabled for your app version or region, advertising networks may include:

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the security of the Game, to investigate fraud or abuse, or as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets subject to appropriate safeguards.

6. Legal Bases for EEA and UK Users

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, our legal bases may include:

Where consent is required, you may withdraw it through the privacy choices made available in the Game or by contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out lawfully before withdrawal.

7. Your Privacy Choices

8. Data Retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy. Retention periods depend on the type of information, the need to provide or secure the Game, account or progress status, advertising and fraud-prevention requirements, support and dispute requirements, and legal obligations. Purchase and transaction records may be retained for the period required by tax, accounting, consumer protection, and anti-fraud laws. We delete or anonymize information when it is no longer needed, unless continued retention is legally required.

9. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, and disclosure. Data is transmitted using encrypted network connections where supported. No security measure is completely effective, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. International Data Transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than the country where you live, including countries whose data protection laws may differ. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers, such as an adequacy decision, Standard Contractual Clauses, or another lawful transfer mechanism.

11. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection to certain processing, and to withdraw consent. You may also have the right to complain to a data protection authority.

To submit a privacy request, contact kirin@oukusg.com. To help us locate the correct record, include your in-game player ID and the platform you use. We may need to verify your request before completing it.

12. California and Other U.S. State Privacy Rights

Residents of California and certain other U.S. states may have rights to know, access, correct, or delete personal information and to opt out of certain sales, sharing, targeted advertising, or profiling. We do not sell personal information for money. Some disclosures to advertising partners may be treated as "sharing," targeted advertising, or a sale under certain state laws. Where required, you may exercise an opt-out through privacy choices presented in the Game or by contacting us. We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.

13. Children's Privacy

The Game is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without legally required parental consent. In regions where a higher age threshold applies to consent-based processing, we follow the applicable local requirement. If you believe a child has provided personal information improperly, contact us so that we can investigate and take appropriate action.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the Game, service providers, legal requirements, or data practices. We will update the Last Updated date and provide any additional notice required by law. Material changes will apply prospectively unless otherwise permitted by law.
